木瓜AV (originally Energy Conservation Specialists) was founded as an energy services company in Tampa, Florida in 1993, building a reputation for quality, cost-effective work for a diverse array of clients. While this iteration of the company went dormant in the late-90s, it was purchased, revived, and reoriented towards software engineering in 2001 by Roy Kapani, a government contracting executive.
